The TATA group planing to collaborate with BSNL network.BSNL is preparing to launch its 4G services nationwide in August 2024, utilizing entirely indigenous technology in line with the government's "Atmanirbhar" initiative. The company has already set up over 3,500 4G base transceiver stations (BTS) across several states, including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh and after next year they settting up the 5G network in India.This initiative is part of BSNL's strategy to increase its market share from 8.08% to 20% by the end of 2024. The rollout of 4G services is expected to help BSNL retain and attract more customers, especially as it has been losing customers due to the lack of 4G services.In its pilot phase, BSNL achieved peak speeds of 40-45 Mbps and has been rolling out 4G services successfully in Punjab, with around 800,000 subscribers already using the new network in India today.The goal is to set up 112,000 towers for 4G and 5G services across the country.
